1st Corinthians 15:51-54...which he mentioned as referring to the rapture...has a VERY specific 2 word phrase that refutes the pretrib view. Look it up. It refers to One of the Seven trumpets of Revelation. Paul tells you EXACTLY which one of the 7 "sounds" at the catching up/gathering of believers. Look it up. 2 words... Last... trumpet.

❤Brother John is a treasure. He has been a sound biblical teacher for decades teaching Scripture one verse at a time and I’ve followed him for over fifty years. Truly a man who studies in depth the Word of God.

It is interesting that the Rapture is not mentioned in the earliest Christian writings, nor was it ever referred to by the great Reformers. In fact until 1830 when it was “discovered“ “by John Nelson Darby, it existed nowhere in Christian writings. Derby, an Englishman, had his teachings rejected by the English church and so took them to America where they were accepted by uneducated American evangelicals. For almost 200 years these teachings have existed yet none of the historic churches in the United States have ever accepted them as biblical. And, no church outside of the United States has ever taught the rapture. Whether it’s the Egyptian Coptic church, the Ethiopian church, the Armenian church, all dating to the first century, the Catholic Church, the Greek Orthodox Church, etc.; none of them have ever taught the Rapture. The reality is, only a few million evangelicals in the United States believe in the Rapture. If that doesn’t tell you that it’s a false teaching, I don’t know what else will.

I consider myself a 5 point Calvinist (I believe in election) and consider it a huge blessing for the Reformation. It's unfortunate that when God supernaturally moved Luther, Calvin and other Reformers to rumble against the apostate Catholic Church, they failed to continue and complete what God called them to do and that is to reform all the apostate doctrines of Catholocism. One of the doctrines they missed was the Catholic doctrine of eschatology which, unfortunately, is embraced today by many "Evangelicals." Amillenialism, Postmillenialism and Historic Premillenialism are all Roman Catholic derivatives and according to R.C. Sproul's definition, are heretical - just not heretical enough to disqualify one as a believer, although a few might perhaps. Bottom line, what an "Evangelical" believes about God's promises to the Jewish people as being chosen by God, and the fact that God promised the actual physical land of Israel to the Jewish people (Deut. 4:38-40) is more telling about a persons eschatology because Catholic antisemitic attitudes that nix the Jewish people and God's promises to them are almost always the ones that embrace the Catholic eschatological views views like Amillenialism, Postmillenialism and Historic Premillenialism. If you want to know the truth and believe in the historical-literal interpretation of God's Word, and believe that the authors God used to pen His Truth in both testaments wrote exactly what God said and mean exactly what God meant, and you refuse to use allegory (hidden unknown meaning) like the Catholic Church does, then listen to J. If you are a "post tribber" you better pray the "pre trib" is correct.....we will not want to be here when God pours out his final wrath on this sinful world....it will be at a level never witnessed before. I guess some have a hard time with the "guilt" of getting the opportunity to miss out on the tribulation and not going through it with everyone else but pray you are spared by being taken out of it prior.

I believe the great awakening to these Words that church who have been called for great commission again to prepare the the chosen ones to speak out of His salvation the way it was the first time and now His coming is the as important the way it told in the Old Testament. Rapture is before the Millennium. Never understood why those in Reformed circles never get this. Early Church was predominantly premil believing in some form of Rapture.

It is not pretribulation, the Bible does not teach it, in fact Jesus says otherwise, we all grow together until the harvest. No one will be removed. John's teachings are Jesuit penned, and pure presumption. Just because the judgement isn't mentioned there doesn't mean anything, because it is mentioned in other places. Jeremiah tells us the wicked will be dung upon the earth with none to bury them. Why, because nobody is here on earth at this time to bury them, we go up to meet in the air, to reign with Him where He is for 1000 years, in heaven, where He prepared a place for us.

Pastor John MacArthur did a mighty fine job explaining God's predestination. The late Prof. R.C. Sproul stated that God's predestination is a-symmetrical in the double aspect. 1. God willfully, actively, and graciously elects His own for eternal life without merit of the sinner (aka as His sheep), and 2. God passes over (passively) those who are not His elect because of their sin and unbelief (aka the goats), since God is not the author of sin and they receive what they deserve as the consequence of their sins, which leads to death. So no one gets injustice from God.

Keeping us from the hour of testing does not imply rapture. A God who spoke creation into existence doesn’t need to fly his church out of wrath; he can inflict wrath on some and not on others. This doctrine implies a coming of Christ before the Antichrist. It is a recipe for deception, which Jesus was extremely concerned about. Many will be deceived.

The word "RAPTURE" is NOT in the KJV Bible. Use a concordance and look up the words that were translated incorrectly.

I love you John, but I do not agree with you on the when it happens. You have to read to much into scriptures for the pre-trib to make sense. We'r will not be restored until after the resurrection happens, AND the man of lawlessness is revealed. ❤

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18....verse 15 clearly says it happens at His coming. There is only a 2nd coming (Hebrews 9:28), not a 2nd AND 3rd coming like dispensationalism teaches. And Hebrews 9:28 clearly speaks of "without sin" which cross references & perfectly matches what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:55-56... 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. Death is gone which means sin is gone...without sin...as in Hebrews 9:28...at His SECOND appearing. Hebrews 9:28 King James Version 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. And as for Revelation 3:10.... Revelation 3:10 King James Version 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Notice it says that we will be kept from the HOUR of temptation. An HOUR is not = to a WEEK... Daniel 9:27 King James Version 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

At the Second Coming and Eternity on the Last Day. Kingdom, trib, grace age is now with Christ on Throne of Heaven and in our hearts and He comes with souls of saints and martyrs to the Resurrection Day of Just and Unjust Heaven or the Dimension of the Lake of Fire.❤🙏
